Frequently Asked Questions

Before submitting a tattoo inquiry, take a moment to go through this FAQ page, where you’ll find answers to the most common questions. Once you’ve reviewed the information, the next step is to fill out a request form.

General information

​

• I don’t do tattoo anyone under age 18

• I work only in my style:  ornamental / blackwork / geometric/ abstract

• I do cover-ups

• If your request is selected, I’ll contact you via email, due to the large number of requests the answer may take 1-2 weeks, I appreciate your patience

• If you’ve read the entire FAQ page and haven’t found an answer to your question, you can ask it by email booking@lenaburlai.com

 

Booking / cancelation / rescheduling

• If your request is accepted and we have scheduled appointments a deposit is required to secure your spot in my calendar.

• To secure your spot in my schedule, you need to make a deposit for each session, the deposit is non-refundable. We can reschedule your appointment once, if you notify me at least one month in advance.

• Once your appointment is confirmed you will receive a email with more information and the address of the studio.

• Without any information about being late, after 30 minutes of waiting our appointment is considered as cancellation by the client, to book the next appointment you will need to pay the deposit again. Please plan your arrival time in advance.

 

Appointments

 

• All appointments begin at 11:00 am.

• One session usually involves 5-6 hours ( with breaks for stretching or snacks)

• For large scale projects I recommend taking several days in a row ( but no more than three), this helps me to concentrate more on one project and it will also help you with the healing process.

• Appointments may include designing, stenciling and freehand drawing on your skin. Your skin will also be prepped for tattooing and bandaged/ covered after session.

• I dedicate each day to one person to ensure a relaxed process where both of us feel completely heard. I work in a private tattoo studio and try to make your stay here as comfortable as possible. I also ask for your understanding and ask you presence at the appointment without accompanying persons.

Tattoo design

​

• I recommend all potential clients to review gallery before submitting a request form. There you’ll find some of the projects that I have done recently.

• I create a project directly at the session and together we finalize it if necessary. I also draw some projects with freehand technique on your skin, after which you check everything in the mirror.

• All your references will be taken into account, but I work best in creative freedom, which allows me to create a unique project just for you. Please know that I’m very honored that you chose me for your tattoo, and I work a certain way to make sure that you leave with the best work that I can do. 

 

​Approx quantity of sessions​​

• ​Full sleeve 3-6 sessions

• Leg sleeve 6-10 sessions 

• Neck / Chest 2-3 sessions

• Full back / front piece 5-8 sessions

• The quantity of sessions can be different depending on your anatomy and complexity of the design

Appointment Day

 

• Get a full night's rest

• Stay hydrated

• Eat a meal before appointment 

• Bring some snacks for yourself

• Bring headphones / books, this will help to distract yourself.

• Wear dark / comfortable clothes

• Don’t drink alcohol drinks 24 hours before

 

Payment

• Cash only for appointments

• PayPal accepted for deposits

Photographs / Videos

 

• I may use and reproduce photographs and videos taken during our tattoo journey. These materials can be used for purposes such as promotion, publication, exhibition, sales, social media, websites, books, calendars, interviews, etc. Additionally, I may creatively edit or alter these images and videos as needed. No further compensation or acknowledgment will be provided for their use.
